Why plan your gift?

Canopy Village Foundation, Inc. is eligible for a qualified charitable Distribution (QCD). As such, there are certain tax benefits that can be realized when you give.

Life income Gifts: through a qualifying trust, the donor would donate payments from the trust for certain number of years.

Qualified Charity: Individual retirement accounts (IRAs), 401(k)s or other qualified retirement plans can be gifted through qualified charitable distributions.

Gifts through your will: One of the simplest ways to make a gift is through your will. Bequests can take the form of cash, securities, life insurance, land or buildings.
